We visited, jointly with the Luxembourg Arts Circle, the Michel Majerus exhibition at the MUDAM, the Museum of Modern Art on the Kirchberg. The aim of much contemporary art is opaque. Our guide brilliantly lifted the veil on this artist's work, even if many of us reserve judgement on the aims of much of modern art. Majerus followed the comic strip inspiration to Roy Liechtenstein. Had he not died tragically young, his ambitious programme could have grown in maturity.
